Our purpose-built Smeg Cooking School is at the Belconnen Fresh Food Markets.
Foodish runs a broad range of cooking classes and we are always introducing new classes in keeping with the seasons and current cooking trends. Our teachers are highly skilled chefs who have a wealth of experience in Australia and overseas and who have culinary teaching experience.
Our Monday evening Summer and Autumn Masterclasses has begun featuring canape, tapas, Thai, Vietnamese, Italian and French classes, as well as a special Ice-Cream class. Click here to view and book these classes.
In addition, we have a three-part Chocolate Workshop with Stuart Strutt-Shotton from Enigma Fine Chocolates, as well as a Smoking Masterclass and three-part Sous Vide Workshop with chef Andrew Thompson, whose work features regularly at Food and Wine Festivals around Australia, and who has worked with just about all the top Australian and international celebrity chefs. Our Wednesday evening Learn How to Cook! series continues through into March, and that's when we have our Kids Easter Treats and Easter Baking classes.
A cooking party is enormous fun and a great way to celebrate your birthday, anniversary, hens, Christmas, or kid's birthday party. It is a cooking class and party in one!
Our wonderful and highly skilled chefs will work with you and your friends to prepare a fabulous food experience. Fancy a Thai or Italian feast? What about a tapas party or High Tea? We will help you develop the menu that is ideal for your special event.
