After-school kids' cooking--term 4

Looking to inspire your child’s culinary creativity? Or needing to unleash your mini chef in the kitchen without having to clean up the mess? 

This is a fun, hands-on series aimed to inspire kids all about food

  • fresh, seasonal ingredients
  • basic knife-skills
  • kitchen safety & hygiene
  • clean-up skills
  • recipes to take home (personalised recipe file awarded at the end of the final class) 

kids rolling pinsThis term we will be making dishes from around the world--gozleme from Turkey, paella from Spain, Vietnamese rice-paper rolls, and lots lots more.

The classes happen over six Wednesdays beginning on 25 October, 3.45 to 5.15pm and concluding on 29 November. The last class is a 'restaurant' class where the children invite family and friends to their 'restaurant' to serve them a delicious dinner that they have cooked.

Classes take place in the Foodish Cooking School at the Belconnen Fresh Food Markets.   The cost for the six-week series is $270. Bookings essential.
